  • 1 cup creamy mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1.5 cups crispy fried onions

Method
 

Prepare the Green Beans
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the fresh green beans for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
Make the Casserole Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy mushroom soup, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well blended.
  2. Add the blanched green beans to the mixture and fold gently until the beans are evenly coated.
Assemble the Casserole
  1. Transfer the green bean mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Add the Topping
  1. Sprinkle the crispy fried onions evenly over the casserole base.
Bake
  1. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
